EMPLOYMENT CAN ALSO BE DONE ACCORDING TO THE DETAILS OF A PERSON’S PRIVATE LIFE.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has recently ruled on the elements of the privacy of a person that can be taken into account when it comes to employment in a certain position.

The Court held that when the requirements for employment concern aspects of the candidate’s privacy (that is, obtaining privacy information to see if a potential employee meets the conditions of the job), two conditions must be met:

– those conditions of the job to serve a legitimate purpose (for example, if the job implies that the employee must have a certain state of health); – need to be measured

– in this case, it is the specific requirements that are required for employment and how their fulfillment is demonstrated;
